Is the third most common cancer diagnosed in dogs. It is a cancer of lymphocytes (a type of blood cell) and lymphoid tissues. Lymphoid tissue is normally present in many places in the body including lymph nodes, spleen, liver, gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow.
Symptoms:
Swelling in the legs or ankles
Cramping and bloating of the abdomen
Night sweats and fever
Weight loss and loss of appetite
Chills
Unusual itching
Fatigue
Pain or altered sensation
Loss of appetite
Unusual tiredness/lack of energy
Persistent coughing
Breathlessness
Enlarged tonsils
Headache.
