Deviated septum
Is a condition in which the nasal septum -- the bone and cartilage that divide the nasal cavity of the nose in half -- is significantly off center, or crooked, making breathing difficult.
Symptoms:
- Difficulty breathing through the nose.
- Nasal congestion, usually one side more than the other.
- Recurrent sinus infections.
- Nosebleeds.
- Sleep problems, such as contributing to loud snoring or sleep apnea.
- Headache postnasal drip.
