Symptoms of middle ear injury or injury to the tympanic membrane include:
Dizziness/vertigo
Bleeding coming out of the ear canal
Swelling of the ear canal
A lack of ability to hear
Pain inside the ear
Foreign body in the ear
Nausea
Vomiting
Symptoms of an inner ear injury include:
Vertigo, in which the room is spinning
Dizziness or light-headedness
Unsteadiness
Unclear vision
Neck pain
