Otomycosis
Is a fungal ear infection, a superficial mycotic infection of the outer ear canal. It is more common in the tropical countries.
Symptoms:
- Pain.
- Redness of the external ear canal.
- Itchiness.
- Swelling.
- Thick and black, white or yellow discharge from the ear.
- Hearing problems in the affected ear.
- Feeling of fullness or blockage in the ear.
- Plugging of the ear.
- Narrowing of the external ear canal.

- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Urinalysis
- Endoscopic examination of ear
- Ear swab cultures for anaerobic flora, sensitivity test
