Conjunctival cyst

Is a thin-walled sac or vesicle that contains fluid. This vesicle may develop either on or under the conjunctiva.

Symptoms:

  • Red eye.
  • Epiphora (watering eye)
  • Irritation - this may be a foreign body sensation due to the presence of follicles or papillae
  • Pain - this is generally mild
  • Discharge
