- Immunoglobulin M (IgM), Immunolobulin G (IgG)
- Complement components
- Chest X-ray
- Peakflowmetry, spirometry
- Sputum examination for tuberculosis (Mycobacterium tuberculosis)
- Sputum clinical examination
- Sputum cytology
- Sputum culture, sensitivity test
